1st gear: Maybe I haven’t been paying close enough attention but where’s all the shit talkers from all the GM recalls now that all the Japanese brands are being recalled?

Someone deserves a bonus for taking the time to make that look amazing. I was on the fence about liking this new Panamera and now I want one.

The basic execution and one-two stage foldout pretty much looks the same as the old Panamera but, somehow, better. In fact I never even noticed the original Panamera’s spoiler deployment but this one has me like, whoa.

I can’t be the only one who want to see a road trip film with Orlove and Torch can I? Being driven around drunk in the back of a winnebago by an irritated hardibird as the DD to all kinds of oddball automotive themed tourist traps.

Now playing

The scene in the Thomas Jane Punisher movie where John Travolta says he’s going to leave his wife where he found her in “Little Cuba.” I’m assuming he’s talking about Ybor but it’s tough to tell because there is no “Little Cuba” in Tampa, not by name anyways.

Don’t watch Pulse with Kristen Bell.

I watched Airborne growing up in Florida and when I moved to Ohio as an adult I expected it to be much colder.

Yeah, I always felt Tanner was the odd one out as on TG UK none of the hosts could drive that well. Just made every competition have either an obvious outcome or feel very staged.

This was one of my favorites for a long time but the story of how they made it just bothers me too much now.

Just looks like a petrol Model S now.

Those rig shots bother me way more than adding in a body in post. I’d rather have a fake car with real action than a real car with fake action.

https://fstoppers.com/automotive/fal… This is actually much worse in my opinion. It’s the real car with fake action. That car isn’t moving at all.

EDIT: And to clarify this was one of my favorite car photos for the longest time.

What are your thoughts on this photo?

Rendering based off of an actor car is very different from just throwing a CG car in.

This actually does not upset me at all. It’s like having a motion capture of an actor actually performing all the stunts. Much better than just making it with bad CG with nothing to go on. One thing this will let you do is film your giant car chase and figure out who’s paying to slap their logo on later.

Yeah, this seems great for being able to have a bunch of the same durable vehicle that can be a stand in for any variety of vehicles.

That’s crazy.

I wanted to get a FRC C5 as a discount V8 sports car but with the used car market what it is these days it’s not even that good of a steal anymore.

Never mind. I watched the video and it makes more sense now. Gif is very misleading.
