Neutral: Is anyone else more scared that the Chinese market is apparently rebounding now? Sounds like some shady things going on which may lead to an even bigger catastrophe to me.

I don’t mind differing opinions because there are Hondabros and BMW douchebags that drive manuals exclusively and drive like shit but just the way everyone’s replying is a bit aggressive for just comments on a car blog.
While there are plenty of ass clowns who drive manuals it helps mitigate driver inattentiveness.
Keyword being most not all. Manual drivers who drive like asshats aren’t driving long because they either wreck or destroy their clutch. Similar concept to squids.
When I used to carpool and commute two hours one way we’d gotten in a habit of giving a golf clap to the other drivers. One guy actually flicked us off and tried to run us off the road.
I’m referring to making them drive manuals.
Netural: I may be wrong on this but my understanding has always been that Maserati’s biggest flaw has always been the cars fall apart by 60k miles if you’re lucky. If they could fix that I imagine that would be a big improvement.
Why don’t you drive a diesel/hybrid/ev if you want to save money on gas?
Because there is a price premium for those and depending on your usage none of them might be a good fit for you to save gas. I do little city driving but don’t drive long enough distances for the diesel to be a huge boost and diesel costs more…
This just combined a bunch of things I had little to no interest in into a giant ball of amazement. I must see this now.
Yeah, one problem I’ve encountered is people will come to autocrosses and knowingly break the rules trying to drift there because they don’t have any other opportunities but it can’t be tolerated because if they have any accidents then it will cost autocrossers their opportunity to use those venues.
That would make a great Jalopnik video.
Well from my understanding it’s the rest of the community going after this whole organization, not just the driver.
The problem with that is NHRA is well established and has been working for decades to maintain it’s image. Drifting by comparison is still relatively young and for the longest time seemed to only attract careless hoons with no concern for safety. I’m not saying that drifters as a whole are that way, just that if you…
Shhhh.
I love the dragon corvette. I’m not sure if it is the work of the world’s greatest car troll or just someone with too much time/money.
