One of the reasons I’m so judgemental is there’s a guy at my local autocross with a 328 with sticky tires and suspension and that’s it and he smokes M3s.

Yeah, the price isn’t too crazy but more than any well informed enthusiast should pay.
Neutral: I don’t know if China’s bubble is going to burst so much as slowly deflate. Electronics manufacturers have already been leaving for a while because the wages are too high. HP was looking to Thailand back in 2012 to build a printer plant.
For the stuff I’m interested in I’d throw money at a suspension on a 328 before I’d ever touch an M3.
That’s at least 5k too high. Also e36 M3 isn’t really any better than a well sorted 328.
Came here to say this.
I told Doug once how much his writing reminds me of Dyer’s and he said that’s probably the best compliment he could ever get.
Before C&D got Ezra Dyer I would never have subscribed to them. Now I’m considering it.
I got two years of R&T for under $10.
Peter Egan is still around but he doesn’t have a regular column anymore.
R&T has actually gotten insanely good since their overhaul. I mean they’ve got Bob Lutz and Jack Baruth working on the same product for crying out loud. Only downside to R&T is Peter Egan’s column is no longer a thing.
Isn’t there some rule that states F1 drivers have to have experience in the feeder series before they can go to F1? Pretty sure that’s what kept Loeb from ever trying his hand at F1 was being told he’d have to start from the bottom.
I got one word about pedestrians and non race vehicles on a hot track: Fuck’em.
They need some kind of kick in the ass. There is no good reason to be on a hot track outside of a race vehicle. It’s all fun and games until someone gets killed and then the driver has to live with that guilt while the whole world tries to…
Reverse: Because Paul Newman is all we should ever talk about.
