That was the first thing I thought.

Caspian Sea Monster can into water. At over 250mph.

Boats have round hulls.

I love extended cabs and I've heard a lot of negative things about this one. How cheap of a home will my kids put me in if I make them ride in the back? FYI my oldest is 5 and I'd probably keep it till he's 10.

Yeah, but he stated better in every single way. I’m just stating there’s one way it’s not better.

Because old cars don’t sound better than new cars... riiiiight.

I was just wondering the same thing. Those dudes must be flush with cash and richer than any of us thought. For arguments sake though it's money well spent as this is probably one of the most direct ways to reach their market segment.

I just read all these comments and all you people think you’re soooo clever.

Starter motors, you used to have to crank start cars
Yeah because I’m sure you had to deal with that problem last week.
Windshields, bugs suck
If you are dealing without a windshield in the last thirty years it’s probably by choice.

This would be awesome. I was born there while my dad was stationed on a sub there. Always wanted to go back and visit but have lived on the other side of the country for the last 25 years.

That’s funny, I’ve ridden in my buddy’s XJ with death wobble. And saying all it needs is a harmonic vibration to be disrupted is one of those easier said than done sort of things. I replaced the tie rods, the hub assemblies, an axle, and a second replacement before my death wobble went away. Now it’s back again and

Am I the only person who wants to see WTCC-E? It could be filled with Leafs and Teslas!

Yes the early models had a problem with that, but by ‘07 that was sorted out.

Yes they are prone to rust, although not typically to that extent. Supposedly this was resolved by the 2007 model year. My 04 had a little rust in the rear fenders which shocked me to see any rust on a car that new.

Yeah it’s definitely fixable but once you get it it starts eating all your front end components and will likely return unless you replace everything which is what I’m going through right now.

I only locked up the brakes once and that was a pretty hard panic stop when some asshole stopped at a yellow on a highway with a 60 mph speedlimit.

My Miata had no ABS as well and it had summer tires on it but I had to put a spare on one of the front wheels and this old dude with a cane walks out in the street when I

Yeah, no ABS is awesome because you can really fool around with trail braking.

The WJ is a solid front axle, and it definitely gets death wobble, trust me.

I am so sorry that I am so late to this discussion. I saw the article posted earlier but rushed out of work and only just now realized I had forgotten to post my views. Here goes.

The current Jeep Wrangler is a terrible choice for a live forever car. There are several reasons for this. One would be it’s solid axles. A

It may be, no expense was spared in this molestation.

Here’s a proper Mustang with a V8 in it.
