This is the one for me since my dad owned one when I was a kid.

Can confirm, grew up in Florida and currently live in Ohio. Even though it seems warm to northeners if it was just 90+ and suddenly dips below 60 you feel like you're dying. Even after you've become acclimated to colder climates.

See, I was going to suggest 50's to 60's as well. Not just the muscle car craze but also the Chevy small block was invented in the mid fifties.

The miata is all about being light and responsive.

A lot of people keep saying Mustang or Camaro but with the weight of those platforms and how musclecars demand torque I can't see them staying naturally aspirated forever.

I typically hate this style of hatch, like on the Versa, but here I love it. It just works.

I think it will come down to either the Corvette or the Miata.
