I’m seething.
I’m seething.
Borderlands 2 (I’m SUPER late to the party). I have the GOTY edition on Steam to get ready for the sequel. Kingdom Hearts 3, as well as The Witcher 3
Devil May Cry 5 needs to be in that conversation for GOTY. Capcom’s been on a tear in the past year and this series is back in a big way.
I’m with ya. NGL this hatefest has gotten old. Did Iron Fist S1 have issues. Oh yeah, no doubt. Defenders did represent a step in the right direction. Danny and Luke’s scenes worked and it was a huge relief. If Cheo’s comments are any indication. He’s only gonna go up from here
It does help that the creative team behind the Assassin’s Fist web series is behind this. It proved that it can be done right in capable hands. I’m curious if the cast will reprise...
West, Ward, Williams, Lee.
This season kicked off with authority. That time travel twist was so unexpected. It’s willingness to get out of it’s comfort zone is why I love it. My favorite exchange has to be when Elena said “Where’s an axe when you need one?” Mack & Coulson’s reactions were EVERYTHING!.
I. Never. Left. I stuck with it from the jump and it’s been a complete joy to watch this show grow and now it’s going full-on space opera. I’m so proud to be on this journey.
Thank you, Emilia!
I’ve read the first two volumes of this series and I’m glad of how faithful this show is. Damn, it hit all the right notes. So good. 11/21 can’t come soon enough.
Batman’s one of the more tonally flexible characters in any medium. He can be wacky and whimsical (Adam West series, Brave and the Bold) or dark and serious (anything Frank Miller or Grant Morrison wrote, BTAS, Nolan trilogy). Frank said it best last year at NYCC “He’s like a diamond, you can bounce him against the…
It was one of Melissa’s best performances on the show to date. Seeing her red kryptonite-fueled heel turn made for some good laughs and drama when it was needed.
For me, it would have to be Way Down in the Hole from The Wire. Specifically, this cover by DoMaje.
Great piece. The lighting gives The Defenders an identity. Episode 104 does a terrific job of colliding each characters’ signature color.
The Defenders did a good job as far as leaving an impact on everything going forward. Daredevil, especially. The wait for Season 3 has become exponentially harder. There definitely were things to love about it. I’m so pleased with the Luke/Danny dynamic. Matt/Jessica, too.
I can accept it if there’s gonna be a different creative team who understands the source material behind the second season. If it’ll take until 2019 to get this right, cool. Adding Simone is a step in the right direction.
I just got the Crash N.Sane Trilogy at midnight. So i’m gonna spend time with that. I may dive back into Horizon Zero Dawn (my personal GOTY) to get 100%. I miss Titanfall 2
Arrow, out of all the shows in the Berlanti-verse, had a lot to prove in season 5. It went back to basics and it paid off handsomely. That season finale, quite possibly, is the single best episode of the series & it easily eclipses Flash and Supergirl’s season-enders. The Flash did lose a step in season 3. Flashpoint…
I’ve got a SFV one-shot. Rick and Morty, Marvel Secret Empire and Guardians of the Galaxy (with a prelude to Bendis’ The Defenders run)
In the wake of Civil War, it can still happen. Barton can’t go home because he’s a fugitive and he didn’t sign the Accords, so he can find a spot in Bedstuy to stay out of sight. From there, you can bring in Kate Bishop.
