It’s going by agonizingly slowly. With BO4's daily skips, I was able to clear two tiers in an hour, and with seasons lasting 90 days, I only needed to play an hour a day for half the season to hit tier 100. With the new system, there’s only 60 days, and tiers take over an hour to get. At the rate I’m playing, which is

Journalists have the power to expose the wrongdoings of people in power. Where the individual has little power and can easily be crushed like a bug under the boot of a politician or corporation, journalists have platforms that can (very publicly) speak truth to power, while the individuals they speak up for are

Ah yes, the self-made billionaire through wage theft and emotional abuse. Classic capitalist move.

You’re right, and it’s sad as hell that a good chunk of the audience of these games absolutely thinks that way.

My examples were specifically of Call of Duty games that are often considered to be non-political by fans. This, in spite of the fact that fighting a massive corporation is very political, and a faction of humanity seceding and declaring war on those they seceded from is extremely political.

“I don’t want politics in my games” is, in of itself, a political statement. If Kotick says he doesn’t want politics in the games Activision-Blizzard makes, consider why he doesn’t want you to think about policy in the games his corporation publishes.

This is cheating.

This is cheating.

It’s a free DLC.

And now I can finally get the physical copy I ordered last year.

I just want my Warlock not to be wearing kitchen gloves, man.

The greys are out in force today.

If, while defending the usage of a specific inflection of the word, you censor the word you’re defending, then it’s not okay to use.

In my experience, you pick up the writing as a component of learning. It’s much easier to associate the characters with their respective phonics. Not to mention knowing how similar-looking characters are written makes distinguishing them in reading much easier.

Social media and societal stigmas changed a lot in the past ten years. These folks weren’t around because the games industry looked very, very different in 2009.

What a shitty argument. Life reflects art. Art reflects life. Sigma is an artist’s depiction of mental illness, no matter where he as a character originates. Therefore, he is a negative depiction of mental illness.
