I don't have a moral problem with drugs. I have a moral problem with this. I think about people who spend their lives tracking down recreational drug users and I think that is more of a waste than doing drugs ever could be.
Always an interesting question because the growth of media as an industry has always been subsidized by advertising from the earliest radio shows on to today.
I should have been more specific and said grab a record from the 80's or before. Good point.
It is directly related to marketing the CD or digital song on radio. They all want to be heard so they master them to "pop"
Let me go ahead and say screw Facebook. Zuck has a lot more luck than brains and he proves that every day. Facebook has never been improved upon since its inception. Sure you can plug more media into it but other than that it is the same and it lives or dies on whether one has interesting friends.
Everything FB has…
I live in TN right next to the stadium. I will always remember Kiffin's time in TN— pimping out sorority girls to potential recruits. A lot of people had a problem with that but I think he just wanted to share some of that cali love. He told us that is how they do things on the West coast. Godspeed Lane...
Great suggestion — I love these guys. I also really like the style of soul infused Jazz they are playing.
Wow — I especially like the way you never break character by having an original thought. Just copy what I say etc. See calling you a bore is a fact but calling me a douche is mean and also very 2006. You hurt me TrickBammer...
Cool — I heard a really funny joke the other day. It was on a comedy special. You should watch it.
Way to include a link. Your skill with discussing issues with the appropriate nuance is noted and admired.
I would suggest you learn how to make a point that adds to a discussion. But what you write is pretty awesome in its own pseudo intellectual way. I think I will start doing that just to annoy people. It is as if you know something —- but you can't say what you know. I REALLY like that!
What is interesting is that they position themselves to be the data security capital of the world if they did it and that is a huge economy that will only grow. Companies are already canceling contracts with US security firms because it is now understood that all of that info has been compromised.
"Lifestyle System" —- $3k so you don't have to touch a red and white cable and instead use cables whose shapes exclusively match their inputs...
I was handed down a Bose 321 system and while I never use it to listen to music I actually think it gets the job done for a 2.1 surround style system. But it better because the system is so overpriced it is crazy. Has a tiny footprint so it is great to sit next to a true 2 channel stereo that is for music. The guy who…
Right on — I think the vinyl gets the uncompressed release because it wont be used on the radio. The radio requires that everything be louder than the last. And that is where the marketing happens. I have the new Ghost record and the vinyl is uncompressed while the CD is brick walled so it is already going on.
..
You know man you are right in theory and I give you credit for pulling out the Jazz CD. You are correct but surely you will agree that most CD's are brick walled. Yes you may find one that isn't but you are really gonna have to look. I will check out that D'Rivera suggestion— thanks for that. I also am happy to…
No get your knee out from where it jerked into your chin, that had to have hurt — I am saying if you aren't sick into music that has sonic qualities that can benefit from being cleaned up and brought forward in the mix — and most importantly are recorded well to start with—- then don't waste your money. There are Bon…
