Good question. It looks like it went from interesting-but-ugly to boring-but-boring.

I see your Comicon pic and raise you Austin SXSW:
Never understood the ugly thing. This car is a lot more interesting than the roadster.
Is your mechanic like an old timey doctors? “Ya got demons in your blood. You should do cocaine about it”
I used to own a primer maroon 1986 Monte Carlo, and worked in the mall. I’d only owned it for a bit, buying it for $75 to have something to drive when my other junker was in the shop. It had twisted one key in half trying to open the trunk, so I never bothered locking it for fear I’d break off another key in the door.

Right! Thanks for the correction.
Always loved these. Itsy bitsy V6 option, and I remember a review describing it as “if Porsche built an economy car”
This is the pissiest piss-take I’ve heard in a while.
I love me some road trip drama. If it was smooth and uneventful, what would anybody have to talk about?
“Picked up a car”
Have to say, kinda impressed by the shirt.
Mustang was all confused. “We’re wrecking, but I don’t see a crowd anywhere, and I looked all around!”
I think the cost of gas should factor in the costs of using gas. Pollution controls, road maintenance, etc. I don’t know that $7 is the right number for this, but cheap gas, shitty roads, and smoggy skies are a dumb combination.

Came here to say this! It was cheap, but it had some bonafides.
I was talking with an ASL interpreter about accessibility options for the deaf. Somehow I got on the topic of braille signs. She was like “Those are good for blind people, but they don’t help the deaf much”.
Show us on this doll where the blog touched you.
Oh man, I had this car in a black 5-speed stick. It was glorious. Handled great, zippy, reliable, functional.
It was stolen out of a mall parking lot, and recovered 6 hours later across a state line stripped so badly that I had to ID the car by the bumper stickers on the only remaining body panel, the back hatch. The…
Great googly moogly, that is a gorgeous car.
It works amazingly, if hoon resistant. I went from a “torque is king” Magnum RT to a “grip is king” AWD. I can’t impress the kids with instant burnouts, but it changes my location on the planet with brutal enthusiasm.
I bought a G37x recently, and I love it! However, when we hit some low temps I noticed that it rattles a ton on cold start, but it quiets down very abruptly, like throwing a switch almost.
I’ve made some sketchy spending decisions in the past few years and I’m kinda terrified it’s valve rattle, but I’ve heard folks on…
