I really can’t believe how unbelievably stupid these have gotten (and mostly were from the beginning). People trying to one up strangers on the internet for quite literally pointless likes/hearts/stars.

Pointless death as a result of one of the more pointless trends of my lifetime.

The video (even though its staged) kind of shows why I like Ricciardo. Here’s a guy with more money than I’ll ever say reacting to a $200 gift (the same car looks to currently be $195 on Ebay) with as much genuine excitement as I would.

Nothing Tesla makes is faster than a 911 Turbo S in any metric. Maybe the Model S Plaid will be quicker from 0-60, but that remains to be verified.

And even there, the 911 Turbo S still beats any EV currently in production. Maybe the Model S Plaid will beat it, but given Tesla’s tendency to overstate things, we’ll have to wait and see for that one.

The type of salvage your dad had is the type we should all worry about. Professional says there is frame damage but average joe disagrees.

I give you, I get my news off Facebook guy.

Glad to see the Jalop comment section is still putting out bangers

If a truck buyer honestly defends their purchase, I think most of us would move on with life. The problem is the truck buyers who are defending their God-given right to do whatever they want with no regard for the society they exist within and impact. This is not about trucks; it is about selfishness.

That was really well written. Thank you.

No offense to OP, but why is it every time I check jalopnik the top story is an article about shit old jeeps?

Just because David is pretending rare means valuable, doesn’t mean everyone else needs to share that delusion.

Okay

I was thinking more along the lines of, a Chrysler minivan is one of the weirdest choices for tuning.

Maybe its because here in the US these things are super fucking common and boring. But I don’t get it. I mean to each their own. If he loves the things then great. But I don’t get it at all.

Including delivering nearly 500k cars last year. Such a long con, to start your own company that revolutionizes the auto industry to the point that everyone is scrambling to copy OTA updates, large screens, and driver assistance, just to bullshit up some bonuses.

It isn’t...

From an efficiency standpoint, the LiveWire regularly returned 6 miles per kWh, which is about double what a really efficient electric car will do.

Cost per mile isn’t an efficiency rating, it’s a pricing rating. Right now DC fast charging stations are still kind of expensive. For the most part they charge

Yeah, with a mirror I can change the angle that I see by moving my head. Can’t do that with a camera (yet).

I think Torch somehow has stock in the original VW Beetle.

That’s fine. Ferrari hasn’t made a traditionally beautiful car since 1964, so...
