I would also argue that modern cars can be a little too “smoothed down” for their own good. I have basically no feedback in my Sonic. 100% grip remaining and 5% grip remaining feel identical in the steering, so it’s super sketchy to try and push it to the limit. My “old” car isn’t really that much more unreliable than my “new” car was.
A German car thats a few years old can be way more unreliable than a classic, and WAY more expensive to fix.

Seeing the Z and the Supra side by side really makes it obvious that the Supra is a bit of an overwrought mess. The Z is refreshingly simple and straightforward. I don’t care if it is a heavily reworked 370z. I like it.

I moved from one house to another when I was 13; me and my best friend BEGGED my dad to let us ride in the “box” of the rental truck. He finally relented, and damn...every 30 seconds one of us would slam into a wall or hit the deck. Very disorienting.
