It’s too bad they didn’t have you there to command them. We’d all be better off with your flawless, lightning quick judgement.

He’s a buzz kill on pretty much every Jalopnik article.
Nope. You’re welcome to stick your hand out and flip the motorcycle’s mirror, though.
No... biker was an asshole, but the Mustang is an attempted murderer. There is only one person in that video that is a victim of attempted murder. Do you understand which one it is?
Nobody crashed a car into an occupied building on purpose. Thats what trees and telephone poles are for.
Where are all the people from the last video who were complaining about lane-splitting? I don’t see anyone defending this guy...
You’ve got it backwards... the EM Corvair is more appreciated by the industrial design community. It was hugely influential across the globe. LM Corvair’s were a case of GM giving the buying public what they thought they wanted- something more “American” looking.
Corvair was the inspiration for this car. Also for several Fiats, and for all of BMW’s Neue Klase, including the (much loved on Jalopnik) 2002.
They don’t suck. They are excellent AutoX cars, oversteer like most rear engined cars, and have more power than that era of 356 or 911.
was he speeding?

You actually DO NOT want this. There is a reason there are different plug configurations for differing volts/amps. Don’t want to accidentally mix up 1/2/3 phase power and appliances just because you wanted identical plugs.
Really? They have only changed the iPod/iPhone once since it’s inception. Would you rather they not innovate?
Are you serious? Function IS their design language. Jony is a Dieter Rams disciple. They consistently produce simple, elegant solutions that correct the over-engineered solutions of other manufacturers. Have you ever seen the bare shell of a unibody MBP? It’s a thing of beauty. Compare it to the many plastic bits that…
This is an auto enthusiast site. Who cares about costs and standards? I want fast, efficient, well made. People groan about Apple’s cost... do they also groan about how much a new 911 costs? Materials, engineering, packaging ain’t cheap, and they are consistently innovating in all of those areas.
Black plastic frames aren’t “change” or “fashion”. NHS style frames have been embraced by just about every generation (Woody Allen), along with P3's (lennon) in some kind of form.
I should have said- a sports car from that era.
It’s also because there is only one of these you can rent in Hollywood that actually runs well.
Sounds like it needed some work. If the steering box is setup correctly (and not worn or dry) it should be very precise. Those were good years for GM steering boxes, they get poached for other projects all the time.
“I hated it because it seemed to beat me to death. I was exhausted every time I climbed out of it.”
