The sky is blue because the ocean is blue, and the ocean is blue because the sky is blue... its a standoff

If you liken it to a child playing with "dad's gun" think about the maximum penalty there...

Bravo! (this is why i wish we still had the hearts)

I am a cheap person but seem to have an addiction to phones, I got my first real smartphone (non palm or windows phone) a few years back (iPhone 3g), the path has looked something like this:

We all thought the same thing about Flash for Android tablets, then everything we use flash for was blocked by the content providers... now Flash is discontinued. This will be the end of flash as a whole. I actually kind of embrace it, it will be a tricky time but in the end we will all have a more platform

Bought my daughters name as a .com web address on the hospitals wifi as she was born... i know im nerdy but i wish i had mine

FYI, the camera keeps a record of the data in the image file. This appears to be a Leica. Not really a shitty camera.

Preface: I may not know what I am talking about here:

No good reason but I still think of Mortal Kombat when I see John(ny) Cage

little late but i had to sleep at some point :D

kurious: I absolutely agree. I do not know (as I would never buy) the details of this cables actual quality. There is a complete possibility (albeit small) that the cable is actually worth every penny for specific applications.

This statement is just categorically incorrect. I really don't wan't to be a troll here arguing with you on the science behind a digital signal, but no matter if I have the $1 and you have the $1000 hdmi cable, there is no minute differences. Its possible that I did not explain the science correctly, (and have a good

I agree, that while technically the specifics of what you are saying are true. This would not allow any cable (regardless of quality) to produce a better image (assuming the original was watchable)

it does not matter the path that 1's and 0's take to get to their final resting place, 1's and 0's need to either be there completely and correctly or there would be signs of digital distortion: nothing like the "snow" of the analog days, there would be huge hicups in sound and entire bands of video that are "stuck",

"digital information running through a cable isn't 1 and 0"

"noise" does not exist in a digital environment... which is why you havent heard anyone having problems with it

okay this comment is one of two things:

I think NASA was against JPL using their logo in the actual tracks of the rover, and I agree, i would be annoyed seeing JPL stamped throughout all the pics in the sand

Assuming your right, and Giz did post a story about Oracle paying bloggers where is it? its not linked in the article (the "Oracle fessed up to one." would be a great place to link) also its not in the tag Oracle on this site either.
