I really enjoyed the fact that practically everyone living in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe was a total selfish asshole, from King Friday, all the way down to the miserable old bag who lived in a whirling museum. It really prepared me for life in the real world.
The new Polly Mouth album, also out this week, is a lot of fun.

Agree 100%. Because the Airplane movies and their ilk managed to have rules and internal logic (people took everything everyone said literally) and were elevated by having subtext (much of it could be read as a comment on how weird our language is).
