Yeah, Kotaku really doesn't want to talk about this game much. Not sure why. Personally I think it could end up being a hit— or at least an underground classic

Its not a shooter game. You can't even keep guns beyond a single clip of ammo; they are temporary power-ups. Its a kung fu game with Arkham city combat— its also very heavy on world exploration and driving.

This isn't really a trailer (despite what the title of the article says.) Its a featurette on gun play. They have the same video for driving, melee combat, exploration/mini-games, story, and mission structure on their website (and sites like gametrailers.)

The problem is really the lack of coverage on the game. I have a feeling this post is the first time a lot of people have heard of it. Considering this video is a just a featurette exclusively for their guns (they have one for fighting, driving, exploring, missions, etc,) only seeing this would be pretty confusing.

Animals do "it" in Minecraft and produce babies. Two animals must, um, touch in order to create a baby animal. Thus, if they have the same gender and like to get it on with each other, that could be twisted to be "homosexual." Asexual creates can reproduce without the assistance of another participant.

Yeah, I think 1+2 are getting a collection I think (3 and 4 are already PS3 games,) though not sure if release outside of Japan has been announced yet.

People keep saying Max Payne... its a shame this game gets such little coverage. its an Open world GTA game with kung fu. Guns are only temporary power-ups.

What makes you think the street life looks dead? All the walk throughs I saw showed some bustling market places where you can eat noodles, do people favors, and bet on chicken fights.

It was an original IP before it was turned into a True Crime game. Activision picked up the title, changed its name, then ditched it. SE saved it and gave creative control back to the devs.

Ha...

Looks a little better in running/melee fighting segments. I'm pretty sure its running on a pretty old engine, considering its bumpy development period. May have pretty sub-par animations, but considering all you can do in this game, I think I can live with that.

I kind of felt that way too, but considering that its a) a new IP, b) gone through serious financial issues and yet c) possible bringing something genuinely new and interesting the open world games... I'll give it a pass on bad animation and buy this on day one.

Its in Hong Kong. If you're looking for an open world Tokyo game, the Yakuza series is your closest bet.

This isn't really a traditional trailer for the game; its a featurette for the gun gameplay... thus your conclusions. You should give a better look, it actually has a TON of potential. Its a shame that because it doesn't have the budget for a large advertising campaign it will get lost under the radar.

lol wut no

Apologies— this is my last response. I didn't realize the QA format was a different comment layout. Another day, then.

I also think the term "retarded" is often used in very bad taste. And you don't know me, so don't make any broad claims otherwise.

How is opinion-based reasoning reasonable? I think we're going in circles here.

I think its perfectly reasonable— you don't, but you're welcome to your opinion.

Hahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.... wow, this conversation really brought out the winners. I'm pretty sure there's a Youtube video for you to be commenting on somewhere. "Cookie Monster Sings Call Me Maybe" perhaps?
