This is listed under their “In-App Purchases” section. In many games, loot boxes are not in-app purchases, but rather “gems” or some other in-game “token/ticket” is. Loot boxes are then purchased with this in-game currency.

Wild guess: gender is probably chosen on the previous screen.
No gameplay, paper doll character animation, generic fantasy crystals and hints of hero collection. 100% mobile.
Ah, I’m just saying I think it’s closer to 10-20 seconds on Console, at least. 5 seconds to load up the planet (even the Tempest) seems really optimistic. But yes, agreed, if they informed you it was ready for skip, that’d be awesome. I’m sure there’s PC’s out there that are wasting most of that cut-scene for sure.
Agreed.
What they could do is add the loading spinner if you press a button (indicating its not ready to skip.) Then, should the loading finish ahead of the movie, change the spinner to a skip button.
That’s not the take off/landing sequences, that’s the “auto-pilot” scenes. Those are now skippable. Take off/landing refers to actually getting off/on the ship (ie, entering a new playable environment.)
Not sure I follow— the take/off landing are movies that cover a 20-30 second load for the entire environment you’re entering. DA:I took upwards of a minute to load similarly sized environments. Skipping the movie would just result in looking at a black loading screen for the remaining time.
The planet take offs/landings are just loading screens. Their intent seemed clear enough: show a pretty movie instead of a 30 second loading screen. The result was “y can i no skip movie!?”
About 20+ hours in, not hearing any unsually bad voice work. It feels about on par with DA:I and the previous Mass Effects. There’s an awkward line here and there (especially with random NPCs) but those games suffered the same.
I genuinely like female Ryder’s VA — mind you, I did a custom character and don’t have to…
In addition to the things other replies have said, it’s non-ideal from a design perspective: it would divide up your user base and increase wait times. They already have a number of different types of gametypes to queue up for that causes this problem already (anyone looking to play an “All Brawls” match at 3am would…
Some perspective on how we could have arrived here:
Cooking shows are currently HUGE in Korea, and “concept shows” are popping up left and right.
I think a show like this originates more from “how can our very media-centric channel take advantage of the cooking craze?” and less “what new and whacky way can we talk…
lol u raed gud
I see, I misunderstood which aspect of that gif you were pointing out. Your clarification makes more sense.
May want to add a correction:
We played a match at High Noon.
Note about the format of Episode Highlights:
Great! It’s not often I get the chance to watch a full episode, so seeing little excerpts like this is appreciated and definitely something I’d watch again.
The TP reveal was famous because a) the hype on whether or not Zelda would return to a darker style was at a fever pitch, and b) supposedly grown men were crying during the reveal.
To be clear, I’m not arguing it’s a spoiler for the game—I mean, of course it’s not. If that’s where you’ve been looking at this from, then I understand your confusion.
Sorry that people not wanting spoilers is disruptive to you. As you point out, different people consume things differently. For me, a big part of enjoying entertainment like this is being surprised by content the way the creator intended. I think that’s a fair, legitimate desire. And I don’t think wanting to read…
