Exactly! But unfortunately a door has been opened here that can't be shut: arguing on Kotaku about Skyrim. So I'm movin' on.

Sigh... So close, so close to seeing a legitimate conversation happen here.

My question: Is it coming to the states?

Which I think is smart... Japanese audiences will rage if they take the name Monster Hunter and give it an over-haul, which is so desperately needed in that series. Better to take the mechanics and do brave things under a different IP.

Also, not to detract from the Dogma conversation, but to claim that all Skyrim has going for is a "huge map," is an exercise in evaluating something you just don't "get." Its like a mother telling her kid that video games is just "pressing a bunch of button." ... And that's why you're not getting a positive response

I think its possible to agree that this game is actually very much worth playing WITHOUT pinning the blame on Skyrim... its not Skyrim's fault that its the first open-world RPG a significant amount of people have played, its the author's fault for being very narrow-minded when reviewing.

Did you really just bait and switch us so we can read that long thing you wrote?

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo........ how about that Half Life series?

Very true. When it happened I thought "wait, then what did I just shoot?" *Cut to corpse of new recruit that tried to take off on his flight exam.*

He jumped out of a crashing chopper and blew up a jet fighter with an RPG. I was pretty satisfied with his performance.

I wasn't a huge fan of Johanson in Iron Man 2 (infact, I was outright disappointed when I heard... and seeing it didn't settle that feeling.) But she won me over in Avengers.

A clue.

Let's break your list down...

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzing!

This legitimately makes me angry. Very very very very angry. I can't believe this shit ever made it past another human being.

Anyone else think the girl on the right looks like she could Dakota Fanning's sister?

Sigh

"So what, I'm supposed to sit there and accept blatant PR hype and lies as the gospel and get myself hyped up about shit that will inevitably prove my first reaction correct? "

Listen to yourself, man. Think very hard if its worth being this ranty and negative about being a CONSUMER. You're already spending money on games, you're already reading about them everyday. Why? Why flood Kotaku with these rants on a daily basis? What good does it do any of us, or even you?
