This is not the SLC model, this is a “regular” SL convertible with a hardtop. The SLC had a longer wheelbase and lowers on the quarter windows. Anyway, this one sounds nice and looks like fun.

2003-2005 Pontiac Vibe GT / Toyota Matrix XRS. It has an awesome Toyota / Yamaha 2ZZ-GE motor (1.8 liter, 180 HP, 8200 redline) from Celica GT-S, but the body is not built for it. Too tall, too soft, etc...

We have the same Mazda5 and I actually like the fuel door on the right. In the gas station, while everybody is waiting in line for the left side pumps, the ones I need are usually empty.

A starter motor. One of the bolts was missing, another had damaged threads (PO or dealership clutch job...), so once in a while the starter housing would loose contact with the engine block and the started would not engage. I’d simply wiggle the starter, somewhat tighten that damaged bolt and it would work for a week.…

Drop the engine just for the head removal? Do not remember doing that, but here is my Opel GT headless engine still in it’s place:
