You can, and eventually you'll get all of your media on a usb stick or similar solid state drive. When that will happen? No idea. But it's definitely the way of the future.

You don't HAVE to, and many people don't if the state they move to has higher taxes for vehicles. I know a few people who keep their cars registered in a different state to avoid taxes/inspections, and they keep their license in that state too to keep it simple.

Most levels have a ruler on the side of them, so you don't need 3 hands. And if your frame is larger than your level, you can just measure the distance from the floor to your first hole and know the distance to the next hole, or from the ceiling down.

Ever heard of measuring tape, or a ruler? It works the same way, and you dont have to waste tape.
