@slim934: Yeah, games for windows is a pile of crap imo, always had a hassle to get it to work and there is always problems with it. Never had those problems with Steam, and while I don't remember if Games for Windows had it, at least on Steam you could play offline.

@Lights: You get Obsidian by mixing lava source with water, so just get some buckets and get lava and put it somewhere and pour water over it. I usually put dirt around and shape my stuff one block at the time with lava and water. Easier then mine obsidian and more fun.
