And there’s nothing wrong with that at all. I’m weary of fans demanding to see certain things happen. Would more inclusion be great? Yes. Would forcing these pre written characters off their original arcs to make that happen be okay? No.

Finn and Poe would literally make no sense to me whatsoever. I would also like to see a single Rey at the end, that’d be dope.

Not sure if I’m understanding you exactly lol. The dialogue in Star Wars has NEVER been good though.

I could most definitely see Rey being a lesbian. Holy fuck, the MRA’s would lose their shit. If they do take that route with her though, I would see it as lazy writing. The first film was important for showcasing her independence and strength. I think making her Xena 2.0 would be the most predictable conclusion for me

Is it wrong for me to not want FinnPoe to become a reality? I just don’t see the connection everyone is making between those two and would much rather see something with Finn and Rey develop as they appear (to me) to have the best on screen chemistry.

Politics aside, I just can’t get over her “crazy eyes”. I have a friend with dark brown hair and those bright comic book blue eyes and it has bothered me since High School. It gives me nightmares.

she did a little more than just remind them that kim had a sex tape, but okay.

Whether it was with Khloe or Kanye, Amber always slut shamed Kim in the process of her defending herself. Pointing out hypocrisy is one thing, but hurling someone not involved in your argument under a bus is another. El oh el these people man. I’m glad they’re on good terms now though.

I feel the same way. I’m amazed at how the level of vitriol aimed at this woman comes from both sides of the spectrum, with both sides basically reverting back to this archaic argument about how they believe one should act or dress. From “she’s a mother” to the people that claim she’s not a “whore, but an attention

Probably just people telling her that she’s beautiful. I mean as crazy as that seems to a lot of us, she obviously longs for that reaffirmation more than most.

I respectfully disagree with like 80% of your reply, but I have drinking in the woods to get to haha. Have a good day.

And perhaps on your end you saw only the occasional eye roll. However, majority of the responses I saw were more in the vein of Piers’ tweet. I happen to believe that, that strand of this topic is in fact slut shaming, and it is what I’ve seen most frequently.

Yo, all that apprehension and dislike towards "respectability" bullshit, and being cognisant of the phrasing you use because that may reinforce misogynistic viewpoints, flies out the fuckin’ window when it’s someone this blog has determined it doesn’t like.

It is, but does that mean I pick up my pitchfork every damn time it happens? Haha. Honestly though, if the anger was solely about her need for attention, there wouldn’t be people screaming that she needs to wear clothes, or show some “respect”. That’s all I’m saying.

Really not that much different than several of my friends who post “I didn’t like this one” above a selfie of themselves they know is absolutely gorgeous. Let her live, enjoy how much hard work and money she put into that body.

slut shaming is bad, unless it’s kim kardashian because el oh el reasons.

Entering my tweens, Passions and Golden Girls were my favorites. I’d be at baseball practice trying to convince my friends that Passions was more than just a soap opera haha.

fuck robert pattinson’s lucky ass

While I personally enjoy the music of both Gaga and Lorde, I feel as though Gaga’s tribute captured not only the energy/ambition of Bowie’s music but also the metamorphosis of Bowie as an artist. Gaga was the natural, and in my opinion, the only present day artist that could deliver on such a feat. Both performances

Exactly. He was amazing in that film. Although I didn’t really love the movie, I still walked away from it all impressed by the performance.
