It honestly just sounds like the guy briefly followed the NBA in 2011, long enough to determine that Derrick Rose was (at the time) awesome, and hasn’t actually bothered to watch any basketball since.

“Either way, this only increases the likelihood Giannis bolts.”
You never know. For all the criticism that Thibodeau gets for over working his guys (which is true) Butler actually seems to like his coaching style. So much so that he openly criticized Fred Hoiberg for not being enough of a hard ass in Chicago.
He was actually talking about Ulis. Nice try, though.
This response should be printed and stuck to the Celtics locker room door with some kind of non-removable glue.
As stupid as this was on the Rockets part, I’m also confused as to why the Lakers didn’t throw their hat into the ring.
Daryl Morey is a fairly smart GM. I’m pretty sure he isn’t dumb enough to think that Melo is a ‘star.’
So you basically want the Lakers, Knicks, Warriors and Bulls to be the only teams able to sign stars?
I love how all of the super knowledgeable people here have already concluded that Booker, a fucking 21-year-old, is not worth this contract because he has failed to achieve success on one of the most poorly run franchises in the league.
Worst contract in the NBA? Really?
RFA is absolutely fine. Just because teams like the Bulls make bad decisions and actually miss the point of RFA doesn’t make the process itself bad.
Exactly.
Haven’t you heard?
Nowadays??
Congratulations on being one of the very few people on Earth (i.e. Thunder fans) who actually still thinks that Westbrook might be better.
That’s nice of you.
That’s a pretty ridiculous assessment. Adams isn’t an All-Star, by any means, but he’s not the 22nd best center in the league.
While I don’t agree with the coffee-spitting gentleman above, I wouldn’t go as far as to call it a solid contract.
If his injury was that bad, it would have come out somehow.
I think a lot of players are pretty frustrated with the league’s lack of balance
