The only way the Lakers get Kawhi is by depleting their roster. Even if they do sign Cousins, there’s no way LeBron signs on to play with a hobbled center coming back from an Archilles injury, a Kawhi who no one knows how injured he is, and a roster of nobodies.

With Paul George deflating the Lakers hopes by re-signing with OKC, the Lakers chances of getting LeBron just dropped significantly.

Perhaps I’m in the minority of Lakers fans, but I’m not in favor of them giving the Spurs the world to get Kawhi.
