Nance has been a marginally useful player over his career so far. And Kuzma and Ball are rookies. If these guys are ‘quitting’ on their coach at this point in their careers (i.e. having proven absolutely nothing in the pros), that actually seems to say more about them than the coach.
So, no fault of the players, then? It’s just about the coach and front office?
They drafted Lonzo, they didn’t trade Russell for him.
Same here.
His own personal stats might not have seen a huge increase, but the ‘success’ comes from him essentially proving that he can be the best player on a really good team (#1 in the East, second best record overall) when many thought that he hadn’t proven he could win without LeBron (frequently pointing out the Cavs…

I think Zach Lowe or Kevin Pelton had an article on ESPN, where he laid out his shooting stats from high school to AAU to the basketball camps etc, and looking at his numbers overall, it’s pretty clear that Lonzo has never really been a good 3 point shooter. The 41% he shot in college stands out as the outlier.
Wow. And you’re saying these are NOT the most egregious examples??
Boo.
I’ve been wondering that, too. I thought the part where she gets sucked out of the ship would have been her farewell, but I guess they’ll come up with some other way to exit her from the movies?
Did anyone ask Gobert if he thought Favors deliberately targeted his knees?
