Ride quality isn’t that bad. I daily drive mine, have 21k miles on it. Is it as comfortable as a BMW? no, but it’s fine for me for daily use.

Why not? The dealership will still replace the HG, because they will get paid for it. Ford is replacing all HG within those given times.

My 4 cylinder hatch is lucky to get 22 mpg on the highway. This truck would be a huge improvement in MPG

It’s a track car / daily driver for Larry. Since the paint job it’s probably been to Costco 10 times.

I do not use them, however at least around when I live, we have “laser” washes, where there are absolutely no brushes. That is what I am referring to when I say touch less

Ammo Lather, work it in with a brush, wipe off with a micro fiber, then treat with leather conditioner, as the Lather will dry it out.

There is no chance your car was not full of swirls if went through an auto car wash 50 times. Unless it was a touch-less wash, which by the sounds of the wheel brush, it was not.

If the 3 door ever makes it to the US I will order one site unseen. The only thing holding my back from making the current FiST my my daily is the fact I don’t need 5 doors when I will be the only person in the car 98% of the time.

There are dozens at sticker and even a few at invoice right now.

There are plenty of RSs available at MSRP or less. If you are willing to travel even a few hundred miles, you can get one at invoice. If you truly want one, join the facebook group or blog, they are posted often

There were two of these sitting at the car detailer I go to, both were black. At first I thought they were just 911's with and R badge because I thought they only came in white. The I took a look at the seats... Black with black and gray hounds-tooth. Only downside is they ask me not to take pictures.

perhaps I am way off, but I don’t think there are any discounts on GT4s, even in North Climates.

How exactly is a Focus “f’in expensive to maintain”?

Not sure where you are located, but the ride height is only too high in the UK, with the shell seats. Not many people complain about the rest of the world seats.

The RS is only a two year limited production run. When all is said and done, there might be less than 4,000 in North America. I don’t think they will have any issues with RS sales, because they never planned to sell that many.

I just read they had sold over 8,000 FoSTs through September to go along with 1,600 RSs. The FiST sales were just over 4,000. Add all of it up, Ford sold 13,500+ hot hatches in North America, over 9 months. Those aren’t bad numbers

I know looks are subjective, but you are the only person I know that thinks the e36 is better looking than the e46

$100 an hour for Larry is what I read on NSX blog, from a guy that had Larry work on his car. I would guess Kevin Brown is even more expensive. I'm guessing $15k-$18k for a detail like you described

The current RS is a 2.3 liter engine, this article states the RS 500 would be a 2.5 liter. You can’t do that with a tuner

A mustang GT gets much better gas mileage than an RS. In the real world, the RS get between 20-22 mpg.
