Every high school boy in the early 2000s was legally required to own Office Space, Fight Club, and the Matrix on DVD.

Thought experiment. Can you name a movie from 2018, the politics of which you didn’t like — but that, as a movie, you enjoyed and thought it worked well?

Skimming through these reviews, one starts to get a sense of where the authors are coming from.

So some of these movies are the worst because they might offend a person’s delicate political beliefs? I’m literally shaking. What will I tell my children?

Just to provide a counter-balance to a common theme I see in many Mandy reviews/write ups - I was not “high as fuck” when I saw Mandy, but still loved it.

Thank God, I thought I was the only other gay man on this board to think this way. It is insulting to think we need other people to be offended for us and tell us what we should be offended about.

People with XY chromosomes can be born with female genitalia and XX with male.

It doesn’t fit his viewpoint, he literally can’t understand you.

man I really dislike Chris pratt because I like projecting” -commenters (but seriously has he done something that’s actually bad or liked a bad person publicly? Then there’s the splatter-filled climax, where Thomas fights his way out of the cult’s secret stronghold pursued by power-mad enemies both supernatural and wholly human.”

sorry bout your life

That movie made some money and got some Oscars, which is all you need to do to earn Hollywood’s forgiveness.

Maybe it’s just me but I think the negativity towards Mel Gibson is a bit unfair when compared to a lot of other stuff Hollywood seems to turn a blind eye to. How many A-list actors these days have been arrested for domestic abuse and still enjoy completely unaffected careers? Sean Penn and Josh Brolin spring to mind.

Just as convenient as when Netflix did away with user reviews right after the terrible Amy Schumer special premiered.

As it turns out, millions of things happen every day without you being aware of them.

Am I the only one who simply has not liked Eddie Redmayne in anything he has done... I am pretty forgiving of actors (Even Adam Sandler had 50 First Dates) but I don’t get Eddie.

the world isn’t just separated into bad and not bad ppl.
