This is a good take. Even though it will be politically detrimental to the Democrats (2/3 don’t support it currently), it is a moral imperative that the charges be brought. If Trump’s conduct doesn’t deserve impeachment then who ever would?

I agree that the House should file impeachment, but not on a personal display of bigotry; I think it should be firmly grounded on hard evidence of crimes or implementation of unaccountable and unconstitutional policies and procedures.

I think it’s really important that the House impeaches, even if it’s a pyrrhic victory and even if there’s no expectation that the Senate will convict. The only good thing that came out of busing was that the poorer black schools that had white students bused in had a significant increase in funds to purchase textbooks, lab equipment, sports and equipment for the first time ever. Which is further evidence that Sanders was correct.

Also, the media needs to be decentralized.
