I don’t find the content or tone being poor.  You don’t come to Jalopnik for political correctness.  What I did find was there have been less articles daily, I have no data to back that up it’s just a observation with no substance.  I don’t spend nearly as much time going through articles as before.  Hence my work…

WTF is your problem with MINI? They make a fun small hatch that you can order larger variants of. Are some of them quite large? Yes but not everyone can justify a small hatchback.
