A Car That Feels Feelings
mcbigmac97

I’ve owned both a GN and a TTA. The GN while slower was just awesome all around. The TTA was bonkers, but didn’t have the cool vibe the GN had. Also people never knew what the fuck it was. TTAs based on the ones I’ve seen on ebay and one that just showed at BJ, go for a little more than a normal low mile GN.  They are

You are wrong and you should feel bad.

With a little turbo, wastegate and software tweaking, GN’s are low 12, high 11 second cars w/o having to touch the guts. Imagine a 3800# car cracking 13's in stock form, and that’s back in the mid 80's. Now with the abundant availability of E-85 at today’s pump, you don’t even need to buy race fuel in order to dial up

Now playing

It’s super old. I remember this vid on streetfire back in like 2003. Still, I feel it necessary to be left here.

I have never seen a GNX go for less than $80k, and that was fifteen years ago.

I remember the days when the Oldsmobile version of the base car was the best selling car in America. You saw Cutlasses and all the other badge engineered versions everywhere, but I haven’t really seen any for years. Yet, Buick Lesabres and Park Avenues from the nineties are everywhere.

I suspect most of those shitting on these things were not yet born when they rolled off the assembly line.

Show us on this doll where the Buick touched you?

The idea that is the most over-rated GM muscle car ever is utter crack smoking.

I disagree. I think it was probably the best looking car of the 1980s. It’s one of the few 1980s vehicles that I would like to own.

You just don’t get it, do you. While I agree with most of what you said, you just can’t compare it to a new car.

I hope it has 8 miles on it because the owner is a big Eminem fan.

Has anyone ever driven a GNX? That’s a rhetorical question, not an inquiry to the commentariat. It seems that every GNX ever built has ridiculously low miles. Is somewhere out there a base 1987 Regal with more miles than every GNX combined?

I just hope those 8 miles were from 32 trips down the strip and back.

Ballaban, your liberal is showing.

....and she thinks we can power the world on environmentally friendly unicorn farts.

Jalopnik is so cute when they get all political and stuff. I just want to pinch their cheeks.

I think the onus is on you to prove him incorrect. Given that Iraq was invaded to capture imaginary WMDs, I’m rather interested in seeing what you come up with. Bub.

Are you telling us to take the Green New Deal seriously but not literally?

All I see is a Shelby GT350 getting destroyed by a Cobra, so.....
