No one buys a Subaru for the interior. They buy them to put colorful stickers on the rear bumpers.

Oh my sweet summer child.
Pretty sweet car, and that is by far the nicest Legacy interior ever.
So what I’m hearing is, wait until someone wrecks one, pull the motor, and drop it into a BRZ.
This is a Saab I would consider buying.
The People’s Cascada.
This feels pretty meaningless. Some auto sales are up. Some are down. Without looking at profit margins it’s hard to say wether Toyota lost out to some temporary discounts from competitors or what. Even weirder is that the 10 year old 4runner design was a big seller. How does that work? Does a rough riding low mpg…
The real question is why does any Lexus exist with the ugly predator face and gigantic grill? Everyone gives BMW and Audi a hard time but Lexus is the king of ridiculous grills
Their demographic is dying.
I honestly don’t know why the Avalon exists. It and the Camry are the same vehicle at this point.
Having ugly cars probably doesn’t help the situation.
Exactly. Every car Toyota produces now competes with the Aztec and Edsel. It’s maddening.
Which is a bummer, because the Accord is among the best everyday cars on the market right now.
Their Camry is easily outselling the bucktooth Accord though. Honda went way too ricey with the Civic and way too boring with the Accord. As with the Camaro vs Mustang, looks > performance for most buyers.
Does Toyota have circa 2005 GM too-big-to-fail syndrome? Models dragging on for far too long, a staid and boring lineup, fewer features than the competition, and nothing really worth buying?
That is bleeping awesome. I wish they run it by itself, to hear what the tires do. They’d be expensive, but I like the idea of the crate electric drivetrains that you can retro fit into older cars.
I need a hug too, after this emotional roller-coaster of a comment thread.
You need a hug, buddy?
It's an inanimate object.
