Calculated.
Calculated.
Noice.
Yeah, I’d hate to be futon the tuition for that one...
Considering the state of ESPN and its future, why not take that offer? With Gruden being one of its top paid on air personalties, it would only be a matter of time before he gets a target painted on his back.
Chris Fuamatu Ma’Afala anyone?
I was going to leave a joke about this but the fact that people are actually believing a conspiracy is at hand is pure gold.
Burnsy is no doubt one of the best but Karlsson does wayyy more than just qb a powerplay. He’s literally everywhere on the ice and gets back in position to make defensive plays just as well.
...and the Pirates will do absolutely do nothing with the 600k they dumped. This is textbook as to how this team has been run for a long time. The Pirates don’t give a shit about winning, they’re still profitable just the way they are even though attendance is way down and their 15 minutes of wildcard fame is over.…
Frank Clark is not a good guy or a bad guy. He’s THE guy...
Hit Bull, Win +1
Ah yes, the gin and juice Pens alternate. Nice choice.
I’d give you a star, but you’re at 69 so...
Most players, even first rounders, need a few years of additonal experience to get up to NHL speed. Add to that this years draft class hasn’t been very highly anticipated compared to the last few either.
There’s going to be a few castaways (Fleury, Kunitz, Bonino, Hainsey, etc) this offseason but the core is still intact and there will be cap space to be had. Tristan Jarry is ready to fill in the backup role. Combining that with the incredible talent pipeline they have had with WBS; it doesn’t seem like the they will…
Yes, because you’ve enlightened us all on your vast hockey knowledge in this thread. Move along shitstain.
Nice. How’s that working out for you?
Welcome to deadspin, where the commenters get even snarkier to cover up for their lack of knowledge about about hockey.
Eff the Caps. They employ a top heavy roster every year and fizzle out when it matters most. Only this offseason they’re going to lose their asses in free agency and will need to come to grips with Ovi beginning to age. They also have employed plenty of douchenozzle players over the years like Dale Hunter, Chris Simon…
A major factor in Rinne’s inconsistency is linked with Pittsburgh’s sporadic offense. Goalies get into a rythym from facing shots regularly. Going from sitting back and coming out to handle the occasional dump in to “Holy shit, here comes 5 scoring chances!” can easily disrupt that.
“Fresh”......it looks like somebody chewed up half of it first before throwing it.
