I wouldn’t consider my monogamous relationship with my partner to be denying any part of my bisexuality, and I don’t think he would say that it denies him his. A straight person that isn’t having penetrative sex at this exact second isn’t denying their straightness.

I disagree. Bisexuality has nothing to do with a preference for polyamorous relationships. It doesn’t rule it out either, it’s just a separate thing.

Came here to say this, thank you for covering it well. :)

“a bisexual person has to deny a part of their sexual identity”

This trope drives me absolutely insane. It’s so insulting, but it’s also so beyond tired and uncreative at this point to make a villain queer, bi, or kinky. Let’s move on.

I think the issue is that there are few portrayals of bisexuals as being normal people in happy monogamous relationships. There is also the depraved bisexual trope that Logan falls into.
