Cass’s backstory was much longer in the comics. The show left out that he only joined the IRA to be there for his brother. That Cass was actually very empathetic towards other people. However once he experienced all the brutal killings it jaded him towards humanity. 

If you read the comics this all makes sense. The reason Cass keeps getting recaptured is to build up the gruesome revenge he gets on the mobster. Who, btw, in the comics had his own penis removed when being tortured by a rival gang. It’s a nod to the comics with the foreskin gag since the show has not mentioned this…

I think that pretend as is hilarious. It looks like a funny ad you would see in GTAV. Speaking of GTAV, how is anyone getting upset with this in game ad when the GTA series has been doing stuff like this for years. 

The only good coming out of this is that SWAT teams are beginning to learn about “swatting”. Because of this less lives (and dogs) are getting unnecessarily lost/destroyed. It’s really going to be bad when some streamer gets killed, live in-front of everyone, because (s)he didn’t respond the right way to the SWAT…
