Are you upset that the only difference in power between a AMG GT and AMG GTS is a software tune by Mercedes too?

You’re entire premise from the very ground level is wrong; the other option is NOT to have had the same cards for the same price but with the line of code enabled; it’s to only have the more expensive option available. So no, these people wouldn’t be escaping with their 75kWH batteries, they’d be escaping in some sort…
For cpu and gpu makers they would sometimes gimp a higher end card by disabling some cores or stream processors and then selling it as a lower end cheaper card. Would you complain about that.
So are you also upset that your ISP doesn’t give you 300mb/s for the same price as the 30mb/s pack simply because they have the ability to unlock that speed by flipping a switch?
Ah, darn it. Now even though I’m up to date with GoT I have to worry about spoilers? That’s 2017 for you. A new irritant every day.
Doesn’t help that the title is crazy misleading. I was expecting to watch a video where the Tesla is alone on an open road and autopilot randomly swerves to drive off a bridge, but the driver grabs the wheel just in time. Not a vid showing some idiot in another car swerving in front of a Tesla at the very last…
I did. This is part 1, where the main point is autopilot was in error.
This dangerous situation is the driver’s fault, to begin with. He should have responded immediately to the drivers in the adjacent lane slowing so quickly. He was lucky to avoid her person changing lanes but it happened a long time after he should have been slowing down or changing lanes himself.
All batteries in hybrids/EVs are warrantied for 8 years because they are “emissions control devices”. The only model that I know having issues with battery degradation is the Leaf with it’s rudimentary battery management.
Toyota warranties their current batteries for 8 years and 100,000 miles. Tesla has an 8 year unlimited warranty. Are you hearing of batteries not lasting that long? I’m not.
The B-class powertrain is made by Tesla.
It is electric and that is what makes it expensive, but also makes it subject to rebates which I think total more than $5k, and are not mentioned here. You also save ~60% on what you spent on fuel.
Bolt has twice the range of a B-class.
It is a case of “do as I say, not as I do.” I don’t see Mary Barra rushing to grab the first Bolt off the assembly line and flaunting how awesome the car is. Elon Musk made sure everyone knew he grabbed the first Model 3 off the assembly line for himself. Yet, GM wants us to plop $35K for their car that looks like a…
It may be because Chevy isn’t actively trying to sell the car? Has anyone seen any ads? Even the dumb real people ones I haven’t seen the Bolt. My dealer doesn’t appear to have any in stock, and the thing has gotten pretty much zero buzz from anyone.
It’s funny because the auto industry wasn’t concerned about Tesla either
Moving from a low-production premium vehicle...
I agree. It is tough to start a car company i think Ford was the last american car to go public in the 1950s if i remember. The fact he even got passed a hundred thousand cars made and sold is amazing in its own right. Tesla has the highest customer satisfaction of any manufacturer. I don’t understand why there is so…
The roadster sold a loss but the model s is very profitable. The reason is they are investing massive amounts into stores, gigafactory, supercharger, and Fremont factory.
How many lives did it take for sailors to first cross the oceans? By your analogy, that is like going from one room to another.
