“Thinest phone ever made”?? Vivo X5 Max is at 4.75 mm. Also the Oppo R5 comes in at 4.85mm. The Blu Vivo Air LTE is 5.1mm like this Moto Z and is the worlds thinest LTE phone. I know I missed a slew of Chinese phones that are thinner too.
