.. I don't know who that is.

Beyond Yacht Rock discussed this two months ago.

Is BLM the same? I'm under the impression that it's more of a slogan that anyone can adopt, for better or worse. If I wanted to send a letter to BLM's PO Box, it wouldn't exist? I'd have to tweet Shaun King, I think.

Every passing day it's becoming more and more obvious that social media has done far more damage than good to this country.

Yea, to be clear by "made up boogey man like George Soros" I intended to mean "they're real, but not the source of all life's troubles that certain individuals with a poor grasp on the rules of American English make them out to be"

I've literally never heard of this "antifa" thing until last weekend. It sounds like another made up boogey man like George Soros from pants pissing cowards to me.

Bad job, internet. This is dumb and pointless, like those Smash Mouth All Star jokes.

That's because you're smart, probably went to college and likely interacted with people outside your social bubble at some point in your life. Not everyone has those advantages and it frames their thinking differently.

Same. As an American, I had no idea there were hurt feelings between Aussies and the Brits over mean words.

Kirk Cameron makes sense now

This episode marked the moment where I knew this was going to be a long season. I have no idea what Lemonading is. I assume it's some sort of Beyonce spoof. I don't care. I'm clearly not the target audience for this show, which is a shame because I enjoyed the first two seasons. I'll stick with it and see if it comes

This response is as predictable and insipid as the show we're discussing. I follow the AV Club on social media. I saw them post about the show. I felt a desire to exercise my first amendment right to discuss whatever I please.

I also left this show behind. I'm not sure when, but it was right after the big hacienda fire episode. I was just done. I didn't care about the people, I didn't care about the story.. I realized I was only watching to ogle Madison for a couple minutes.. I tell ya, I haven't missed it one bit.

Damn, I'm glad I bailed on this show a year and a half ago.

This is why Donald Trump won. Or something

Watching the show with captions on helps with this, review guy

There is a massive difference between a station in Montgomery using an investigative story about rip-offs at Costco from it's sister station in Memphis to what Sinclair does.

yes. there are review procedures in place. "news" managers are brought in who make sure of it.

I live in a very conservative market with a Tribune station that's about to be part of Sinclair. I have absolutely no doubt their ratings will spike. Very concerning.

As someone who works in the business, I had no idea this wasn't widely known. I've known people who work for Sinclair now, and worked for Sinclair in the past and I've never heard a positive word about it from anyone I respect. I'm also told it's gotten much, much worse in the last year. I'm fortunate enough to work
