It is about 3 times greener to create energy at a coal plant than in your car. So, yes it isn't perfect yet unless you are using renewable energy, but even energy from the coal plant is better than energy from a gas powered vehicle.

You win the internet for today, that was hilarious.

Ohh okay, and is it a sequential gearbox?

I thought that was weird, and how does up shifting work in those because I didn't see him use the clutch when accelerating, only braking?

I was going to say the second because of the side picture and my first thought was Hey! That's almost an e30! Then I read that it was a kit for an e30 which definitely ruins it. They both suck.

I used to own a speed protege and I loved it so I would be betraying my car if I didn't vote protege.

I drove a v6 mx3 once, and it was a blast to drive! I have a mazdaspeed protege and I honestly would have liked to keep driving it more after I got back in my car. I consider my car relatively slow and this car was VERY slow, but there was something about it that I just loved. I tried to convince one of my friends to

Obviously miata, cheap to fix and maintain. They are easy to work on and can you have tons of fun in them.

Would you happen to own a red frs and live in MA? I saw one like that a year or so ago and had to do a double take haha. It looked awesome.

I was hoping I wasn't the only one who wasn't thinking skyactiv...

Wish I had seen this yesterday, but I'm going to say central massachusetts. This is not to say that we don't have the equipment, but nobody knows what to do with them, not to mention the fact that people don't understand how to drive in the snow. Non major roads are plowed maybe once midway through the storm so they

Liked the mazda bit at the end haha.

Braking late/still accelerating at stopped cars ahead gets me more than anything else. First, if there is ever something slightly wrong with your brakes you don't give yourself enough time to try the e brake or anything else. Second, you are going to go through your brake pads too quickly. Lastly, you are wasting gas

I just got it and I can't put it down, he is fantastic.

I am 18 and I have been driving for 2 years, and been working for 4 and without my parents help I would not be driving right now. My car was 4500 plus tax and registration (600) and then with insurance for just 1 year is 1500, and gas for one year has been over 1500. That alone is 8100 for the first year then throw in

I drive a 2003 "spicy orange" mazdaspeed protege, and I love having a car in an obnoxious color. There are downsides mainly people asking if it is fast (its faster than your corolla, but not by much), but it is a great conversation starter and I love getting compliments on it. Plus, it is very easy to find in parking

I'm 18 and luckily have a group of friends that are interested in cars, but unfortunately we are rare. Many people at my school haven't even heard of a clutch and could care less what kind of car they are driving. I think the way to save it is to get people in fun cars. My first and current car is an orange Mazdaspeed

Couldn't agree more, speed isn't everything. Put anyone in a miata with the top down on a winding back road and a smile will be guaranteed.

Being a gearhead, that is one of the biggest ways to disrespect someone... For no reason should you ever key someones car or do any sort of intentional harm to the car.
