Initial cost to buy and uncertainty on battery replacement costs and sustainability of mining operations to acquire the materials.

I wouldn’t buy a ICE car at those prices, and there are no EV’s in my price range, and it’s not something I’m likely to take chance on in the used markets given my primary concerns.

Barely above Chrysler - now that is embarrassing.

First car I ever drove was grandma’s91 Buick Regal the night before drivers training started. The cars I learned to drive in during drivers training were a equally boring Buick Century and its badge engineered Oldsmobile cousin.
My first car was a ‘85 Chevy Sprint (Predecessor to Geo Metro). I learned how to drive

NP on condition and potential for JDM resto-mod. The only way this thing could be any more jalop is if it had a manual and was browner.  Can’t believe it’s getting ND bombed right now.  ..and we wonder why wagons are dead. :)

Or why producing those numbers are impressive...
250,000 is only good for 5th place over-all in sales.
500k and you barely edge out The Silverado for 3rd over all.
650k to Beat F-Series (Not including Lightning +15k for those)
And 750k to beat GM Combined (Silverado and Sierra)

..so lets look at where current EV trucks

This guy doesn’t understand the US truck market at all. You’ll never see these things on farms, or cattle ranches, oil fields, hauling trailers full of livestock and farm equipment, and so they will NEVER outsell traditional trucks until they can be beat within an inch of their lives and run for 60 years.

Premium cars have premium price tags, and that is part of the brand image.
Paying premium prices makes you special, and important even if the car is essentially a gussied up civic.

I totally forgot about Gunsmith Cats... excellent car art work in that series.

...My car is named for Haruko...

“people lie” Cops are people too.
and All Cops are Bad.

It is not very well paced and rather disorienting while going through most of the story that Horizon requires to get to the point that you earn enough credits, and have enough cars to make it fun. Story dialog is forced and awkward, and some times voice overs break in for no discernible reason. Admittedly, once you

...my car smells like East Texas dog on a hot day.  Not sure it causes cancer, but it stinks just as bad.

I had to laugh at the look on her face... its probably the same look I had on my face reading this.  :P

Agree, but you forgot..

Still is... and has only gotten more refined w/ Age IMHO.

I’ll nominate Today’s Mazda.

KODO: “Soul of Motion”

Anti-labor, skirt every law, and exploit every loop-hole automakers and support businesses suddenly stopped being anti-labor, stopped skirting every law and exploiting every loophole they can.

...Because you bought an EV?

De-badging depends on the car for me.

I had a ‘02 Impreza that I de-badged then got the trunk emblem from a 2006+ and put it on like those cars because I liked the bigger emblem there and centered. I removed all other emblem text from the car.
I also did the JDM “i” badge on the front.

Review is what I expected. Subaru AWD is really the only game it has any more, and it does make for a fun engaging drive.. but they’ve gutted everything else that would make up for the “Slow car” part of the deal and that sleepy CVT is just never going to get you the most out of that engine.

As someone that can’t

I wanted something reliable that wouldn’t break the bank with routine maintenance when out of warranty. I didn’t want the repair cost markup for any and all services because “Luxury brand”. I didn’t need nor want that much “performance” and really at the end of the day and for the price point it was a: 10 year old car
