These reviews often remind me of some on the now defunct Television Without Pity. Some were super snarky, and some reviewers clearly did not like the shows they reviewed. It seemed the perfect forum for the reviews we're reading for this show.
It's been about 10 years since I've seen the film. Time to watch it again.
Did you notice the game of Hangman in the phone booth, and the answer was Sioux Falls? I don't know if that's heavy-handed with the foreshadowing (with the noose around Ed's neck and the upcoming massacre), but I appreciated that little detail.
