Firstly, I’m so pleased there wa such a huge turnout- well done everyone! It would’ve been amazing to be there. Thank you for representing women!

I’ve read some powerful pieces by Ta-Nehisi Coates at the Atlantic. I didn’t know they were a news outlet. I just figured amazing authors wrote long form pieces there. Thank you for the recommendation.

It’s really heartening to see so many people taking part in Women’s Marches around the world. But I want to address one of the common criticisms I’ve seen. Some have said that women in western democracies shouldn’t bother marching, because they have a lot of rights, and at least it’s not as bad as living in countries

I marched in NYC today and I couldn’t have been more proud of my city and all the people who came out to march. The subways were crammed, the streets were jam packed and the march was literally a crawl most of the time, but everyone was fired up and ready to go! It made me realize that though we are facing at least

I’ve never felt so proud in this moment. To have met so many amazing - huge understatement - people has revived my soul like never before.

I couldn’t make it to either the DC march or my local march today, so instead I donated as much as I could spare to Planned Parenthood, the ACLU, and my local domestic violence shelter and rape crisis center, and the Lilith Fund. If you’re able, try to donate what you can to a worthy cause! Every little bit of

So proud of how much of a turn out there was everywhere! My family and I couldn’t go because we’re sick.

Hey guys! Here i am at my local march. IM not always clever, but i do go for the jugular most times. So I have a very to the point but appropriate sign lol. Comes from my years of service at PP I guess.

I had a panic attack in my class Thursday morning. Yesterday, I did a total tech black out, and made a quiche and cleaned house. I saw this morning the executive order about the ACA and I’m back to near panicking. I’m on state healthcare in Washington right now, and my fiancé intends on getting me on his employee

This is a little off topic for today but I have some good personal news at last, for some stuff I was posting about last summer.

1. Me, C and the Evil Landlord: I won my case against EL, and got about half of what I asked for in damages and rental abatement, which is just fine. I ran into C at the LRT station the day

My father is loving this. I got him a black pussy hat to wear. He’s planning to wear it to torment the old vets who voted for Trump. He likes to yell at them about voting for him.

woke up early this morning having a crying panic attack about the state of our laws and democracy. turned on TV — live coverage of stupidface at church. opened Facebook, Jez, etc. — happy smiling marching faces, witty signs, bright pussy hats, all reminding me that we have terrific allies for this fight. started

The Guardian online has been my go-to.

I cried yesterday reading the updates on Twitter about the inauguration. It was heartbreaking.

I wish could have been there today. I just wish I could have been there. I feel like I’ve missed out on something important but I will say that seeing how widespread it was as I followed from home today was the first day I haven’t felt apocalyptic. I’m glad you are all okay, moreover, I’m glad that you’re all alive

I’m reposting this from yesterday, so excuse the tone.

Can I share my poster from the Denver march here? Because I’m super proud of it and still riding a giddy high from the march. What did you guys’ posters say?

i dont think ill ever be over chanting ‘say her name’ and the names of victims of police murders while their mothers stood on stage and listened

So proud of you all. I’m Canadian and wasn’t able to attend a local march but I just want to express my support for my sisters all over the world and especially my American sisters. I was heartbroken after that election and can only imagine how you all feel. I hope you’re all feeling more optimistic today, knowing you
