Rep. John Lewis is amazing. There are not enough words to describe how brave this man is for continuing to stand up against those who try to silence him.

John Lewis took a horrific beating at Selma, which was immortalized in the picture. I doubt he’s afraid of Trump or any of Trump’s threats. He knows brutality already.

I so appreciate those taking a stand. I was incredibly proud to see Gutierrez do so- I’ve been a big fan since meeting him and hearing his story at a Latinx lawyers event. He’s the real deal, as is Lewis.
