They should have given him his International Scout as his taxi!

My 2 year old daughter has watched a couple like this, but I’ve fallen into the rabbit hole of ridiculousness before just because of how hilariously awful they are. I call them sweatshop animation, they’re so bad it can’t even be AI, just a huge building in some third world country where they’re forcing people to push

I’d recommend installing the YT kids app - you can strictly allow only channels / videos that you’re ok with your kid seeing. Those Bon Bon monkey videos led me to the realization that there is no way to block a channel from your normal youtube account. Even the “better” kids channels have started doing those 4 car

I feel seen. We limit screen time for my almost 3 year old, but we somehow have developed a bedtime tradition of letting him watch a few videos on my phone before I read a book and put him down. These freaking Cars videos haunt my dreams.

Suddenly those Mark Rober videos my kid adores look much better by comparison.

My wife and I honeymooned in Iceland. My new brother-in-law apparently knew someone living there and they graciously lent us a Volkswagen Polo for us to gallivant around. We decided to go see the Icelandic Golden Circle (Thingvellir National Park, Geysir geothermal area, and the Gullfoss waterfall) on an overcast and

In 1985 I worked at a body shop that had an exclusive with a local BMW dealer to fix their cars. Typically I got to drive tons of 3 series and 5 series of that era and the occasional 7 series and on rarer occasions, the 6. These cars drove beautifully and were built really well. This one is in really good shape and I

I love me a good 20-30 year old sports sedan. Thats where you get the best driving dynamics (IMO) absence of electronic nannies, looks and sounds. Everyone is going to say the E39 so I am going to present a couple of other contenders.

I’m goning to have to go with the 2010 Saab 9-5 Aero.

Since people started suggesting American made sedans I’ll go with the 4-door version of the Hudson Hornet which dominated NASCAR in the early 50's.  All the Hornets came with the high output straight 6 and were not that different from the race cars.

JAG Mark II

Got to go with the original. Jag XJ.

I don’t care that it’s automatic, this is about as perfect of an overall sports sedan as I’ve ever driven. W212 E63 AMG post-refresh, 2014-2016.

I’m a sucker for DTM homologation specials like the 190E series Evo and Evo 2, or the E30 M3. Or Alfa Romeo GTVs and other GT racing-inspired models.

The original E28 M5.

I’ll never be a huge fan of his music (was way to into punk when Slippery When Wet was released), but he’s been a good dude for a long, long time. And as I’ve aged, and become a true (transplanted) New Jerseyan, I’ve come to appreciate his music at least.

The Lotus Carlton , probably the only car on this list that was actively campaigned to be banned from production for being too fast.

BMW never made an E46 M3 sedan, but they sure did make an E90 M3, and it’s glorious.

God I miss this era of Car and Driver mags. The printed ones. I’m 37, not 73, but that magazine was a treasure during my teenage years.
