I have the courage to speak the truth. A Fiero that wasn’t kneecapped by the Corvette would be (and would have been) awesome.

The Volt. Not because I loved the cars, but Toyota can’t make their Prime trims fast enough to meet demand. Why is there not a Volt drivetrain in the Blazer? Do that to everything in the lineup.

Anything from Matt Farah, Doug Demuro or even Freddie Tavarish?  All gone on to greater things now but...

It’s probably a Harley, but maybe a Yamaha C3:

Bah, not the best looking, not bad either, but was fun as hell to drive. I had one as a rental, called it the ‘Bullet’ because it could move and the handling was quite smooth.

I always found it shameful they didn’t offer a version of it with the Contour SVT drivetrain. I’ve never found it hideous looking, but never thought it was a good looker either.

90% of Gladiators are pavement princesses that rarely, if ever, see terrain more challenging than a Kroger parking lot.

I went digging for a few minutes, but wasn’t able to uncover any D Boons (nor C Boons or E Boons), however I did find this most excellent ~1970 Daihatsu Fellow Max beach buggy.

We haggard and harried few do indeed still (and always) remember Davey’s statement regarding Jalopnik’s lack of good cotomer sevis.

I wonder how many people reading now did so in that era. There can’t be many of us left.

This isn’t a starter car this is a finisher car.

Without having to think about it, Raphael Orlove’s fantastic, long piece on the history of Mazda’s failed attempt at a luxury brand and the resulting Mazda Millenia. Since it all happened in the pre-mass-market internet days, the only way to hear the story is from a ton of the important, high-up people who were

Risky Business reboot?

This one, becasue it is interesting and well written. The pics were great, too, but they don’t seem to exist anymore. But I may be biased.
