I think there’s value in the partial brightness DRL’s offer - modern headlights are bright and glaring enough that we don’t need it 24/7. Anecdotally, I’m Canadian, and I don’t remember the night issue really popping up until 10 or 15 years ago (8th gen Civics were particularly bad for it with the bright digital…
Really going to have to Fly By Night if they want it there in time.
Of the 27,000 new Wranglers on Auto Trader, only 14% are less than $45k (a touch under the base price of an Unlimited Sahara). Hell, less than 40% are under the $54k starting point of a 4xe. I’m very comfortable saying a decently equipped 4-door Wrangler is normal.
I cite Fuelly because it’s not going to disregard electric-only miles, so presumably 4xe owners are legitimately averaging almost 30mpg overall. Yes, that points to primarily shorter trips, but that seems about in line with normal usage (see the common stat about people commuting an average 41 miles per day).
It looks like 4xe owners are averaging a bit under 30mpg overall, compared to roughly 19mpg on the unelectrified 2.0T (and a bit under 18 for the V6), at least as per Fuelly data. That’s a pretty decent boost, especially if tax credits or any other perks come into play (I know around here, PHEV’s get HOV lane access…
I'm on board with the Alpine-knockoff styling, but if a Tesla Model 3 can be sub-2 tons, over 4800lbs better damn well be the gross weight.
Twister 2: The Legend of Twirly's Gold
Just one point of clarification, is that 36.6 US or Imperial MPG? I’d expect Imperial MPG (about 30.5 US MPG or 7.7L/100km) given a British writer, but I don’t know if post-editing if it got Americanized.
Eh, the unknown brand thing isn’t that big a deal, ship it over here as the Nissan Micra if the dealers don’t mind something undercutting the Versa.
I’m assuming either to disrupt the airflow enough to stop the tornado, or to get your Pepsi-sponsored data collection devices in the tornado without requiring writing off a brand new Dodge Ram.
Lego is supposedly produces the highest volume of tires as well.
Yeah, the most likely outcome of using a car for commercial purposes counter to the contract is just being put on a Do Not Rent list for future use, and the original KLTA article makes no mention of that bit from the contract.
Since it’s romanticized and fictional anyhow, go with the Hellcat 300 that should exist but doesn’t, since it blends in even better (you just look like a middle manager that got an Emerald Aisle upgrade)?
Anyone who’d do a fastidious, years long restoration on a pretty basic Fiero’s already off to a good start, but Roland Finger’s followed it up with a Kawasaki GPZ1000 (almost the Top Gun bike) and a Datsun 280Z. Similarly to Croker, he’s funny, and has actual production value. Plus, since he’s into 3d printing, he’ll…
Fair, although it still seems a little lame, and it’s still worth revisiting CAFE.
To point number 5 though, what except for general OEM skullduggery means the RAV4 can tow 3500lbs and the Camry isn’t rated to tow anything?
Even the pre-refresh Escape isn’t bad, and the goofy 3-cyl warble from the base engine is kind of charming.
