Do you work at Square Enix? Because that sounds horrible.

I was thinking to myself “is there is nothing that could make me not want to buy this game?” then it happened...

This entire weekend has been a huge letdown. I expected changes, but I actively loathe everything I’ve heard about this game this weekend.

I could live with the more action-oriented combat, but now I’m worried; episodic content means that they might ditch the overworld and the minigames (despite the fact that people say that the RTS minigame is lame, I love it).

No. No. No. No. No. Are you freaking serious? How about end-game? How do we hunt Ruby Weapon and Emerald Weapon? How about going to Wutai with Yuffie? How about having Vincent in the party? Can we even skip the recruitment of those two? How about the free time we have at the Golden Saucer?

Don’t you guys forget about Final Fantasy VII-2: Lifes From the Lifestream feat Adam Sandler! I can’t wait to get the exclusive Walmart Preorder with the exclusive Tifa’s Doritos™ themed sexy outfit DLC! I think I’ll even buy the game TWICE since I also want the Montain Dew™ Green themed Red XIII that will only be

This is a RPG. Isn’t this like the stupidest genre to do a episodic type game in? Did no one working on the game for a second think “This is fucking stupid,”?

Because Square Enix when this game came out and Square Enix today have entirely different business and development philosophies. They now have a proven track record of fucking it up, I.e. Serving up a pie for players to eat but leaving out the fruit inside until they pay for it. Or not having fruit at all and making

If this doesnt have the cross dressing event then its not a remake and is therefore denied its right as a Final Fantasy 7 game.

You want to play it and learn why everyone loved it so much? Snag the original version it on Steam or the PSN. While this one does look gorgeous graphically, they appear to be doing a lot of core gameplay changes that will make it not feel like the game that everyone grew to love.

So, I bought this game mostly wanting to play other people’s levels. While I did enjoy the “Maker” portion of the game more than I thought I would, I feel as if the the level discovery leaves something to be desired. I never find many levels that are simply playable. Half are “lol, I’m such a troll this is so hard”
