In Land Rover years, it’s ancient.

The Model 3 is just an overpriced econobox with a shitty interior and an electric drivetrain. It’s about as game-changing as a Chevy Bolt.

Ok... Two takeaways from this...

Nice shape, check.  Manual transmission, check.  $5 grand for this under-powered breadbox on wheels...Cancel that check.  It WOULD be a good white Amazon delivery van though.  But still CP.

I’m one of those few that feels it should’ve stayed front-engined because muh tradition. The Corvette is the American 911 in that each gen has been an evolution of the previous while retaining the same layout. That’s no longer the case with the arrival of the C8. A lot of people kept saying they went mid-engine

It’s what a Chevy Cruze would be if it worked out in the gym, with an emphasis on butt toning exercises.

I think it’s because it’s eschewing what made the production Corvette so unique, and in a sense that’s a fair complaint. A lot of folks take VW to task for releasing the New Beetle that was just a cosplaying Golf rather than a true air-cooled, rear-engined car, and it seems like this is in the same vein. I think this

Lapid: “Anything but green.”

One of only two built. No lowballers. I know what I’ve got.

About how I feel about the switch to Survey Monkey...

I don’t like the monkey, it wants me to taka a survey after I voted so I can see the results of the poll. That's a NO-NO in my book, sorry

I can’t see the results of the survey after voting, which sorta stinks.

I had no idea Saleen was still in business. Last time I heard of them, they were planning to produce a performance version of the Tesla Model S in 2014.

that particular wiper assembly is incredibly expensive and involved to replace and to install - i assume that when it went bad, it was simpler and more cost-effective to just replace the vehicle around it.

Used good quality tires are good. New bad quality tires are bad. Used bad quality tires are WTF are you doing bad.

David is right on this I’ve bought new and used tires and the only difference was the price. Your misconception isn't my problem and it's not his. Do your homework and know what your looking at and you'll be fine, just as fine in fact as the blow hard who spent $700 on a new set.

I thought it was only me that doesn’t understand his neurotic obsession with rusted-out shitboxes that never, ever get fixed properly.

You know, it is nuts. Everyone says “low profile tires are required for performance!” Well, not all performance cars have low profile tires. (admittedly, these tire profiles are mandated, but you can’t tell me that your Hyundai with 1" high sideways can outperform this vehicle with the fat sidewalls).

Before you say this, you really should stop by your local junkyard and look at the tire selection.

My philosophy is: Instead of buying a cheap, no-name brand tire for cheap, I buy a lightly used (one or two year old) name brand, high-quality tire that’s garnered good reviews from users and that I’ve thoroughly

They should have called in the squat team.
