Let me drop a little lawyer on you:

You’re not wrong, but if I want to go anywhere that requires a lot of driving then it becomes an issue. Also, aren’t house chargers expensive to install for the ones that don’t suck?

It’s not the number of chargers, it’s being able to charge while not at home in an amount of time that makes it convenient. 30 minutes is still far too long when it takes me <5 to fill up my gasoline cars.

I don’t get your point. There are many large RWD cars with less than 200hp, past and present. Base model 5-Series or E-Class for instance. These occupy a similar market niche as the Crown, at least in their home country, which is to say they are ubiquitous in Fleet operations.

And now Jaguar is pushing electric. Everyone is jumping on the EV train, but what happens when they all trot out their electric offerings and the sales just don’t happen? I know they will eventually, but right now the charging infrastructure is not in place. Popular acceptance is not in place. Issues with safety
