Thank you so much, it's been a hard few years. I'm strong a lot of the time but sometimes it's hard finding the energy to be strong. Thank you so much for saying about your Xmas, I live in England though so it's a bit far. Sending hugs back to you my friend .
That's amazing, I'll start following her on Twitter. Thanks for the heads up. :)
Hi, I'm weighing up the alternatives. I think it boils down to I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving him for that long. He's quite the Lap cat these days and is Also very vocal. I'm coming to the conclusion i won't be going. Ollie wouldn't cope on the coach then 2 tube journeys, my family I'm meant to be visiting Also…
Thank you :)
Hi, I'd be leaving at 10:20 am on the 24th and would arrive back at 7:35pn on the 27th. He's on dry food only, no meds. I just worry because he's 14, and is quite a lap cat.
Sadly I don't have any of those. My friends are all away at Xmas. Thank you for saying you would if you lived near. A few people have suggested leaving him for 3 days with enough dry food and water. I'm just not sure I'd be happy doing so, I'd worry something would happen to him.
He does. Thank you, I'm biased but he's very handsome :) please keep up with your updates, they always cheer me up.
Thank you, that means a lot. All of you guys keep me going. Jezz sns is a lovely place.
Thank you Hannibal, that would be very much appreciated.
Thank you. He's a very special cat. Love him lots.
Where I live my local council is moving me from. It's full of drug dealers and alcoholics that don't give a damn. I was homeless for a while until this year. I have nobody I talk to in my immediate area. It's not a nice neighbourhood, so that idea is out. Thank you for trying with the suggestions, I just don't live in…
I love your updates. This is my cat Ollie, I met him when I was homeless living in a hostel. He was a stray they had taken in. He followed me everywhere from when we first met. I was so lucky they gave him to me when I was given social housing. He's 14 and I love him to bits.
That is amazing news, well done MD, and good luck in your new place. It's so hard to get housing, even the council discriminates if you are under 35 and it's nigh on impossible to get the council to house you if you are a male of any age. I am so happy for you. Well done for re applying and it going your way. :) x
So pleased things are looking a bit better this week. Sending good thoughts to you and your dad.
Not in my area (Portsmouth United Kingdom). I've literally looked into everything. x
I’ve given up hope my friend and I've learnt Xmas miracles don't exist. How are you and how has your week been ? x
Sending big hugs fellow Jezzie. x
Thank you everyone that made suggestions/sent me links last week to help try to find a cat sitter so I won't be by myself at Xmas. Unfortunately the cheapest ones were booked and the ones left were out of my non existent budget. I think I'm just going to cancel Xmas. I need to stop crying and deal with it. Just so fed…
Ha! That is true. I also like people watching whilst waiting. Cheers MD enjoy your pint.
