Everything you said is victim blaming. Get a clue, dude.
Everything you said is victim blaming. Get a clue, dude.
You stand by victim blaming, instead of placing the blame on the predator who acted violently. Got it.
asking for trouble
Fine, do you want a handclap or a pat on the back? You’re right. If you don’t know someone well you shouldn’t go to their house after a date, especially the first few dates, if you don’t want to have sex. It doesn’t matter if they have amazing books, shiny beads, or candy. Now we all the fucking know that. Oh, men…
Don’t be afraid to dismiss weirdos in the greys people.
I had no idea they made Clue into a play! If it was me, I’d wrap presents, make cookie dough to freeze, etc. Just doing stuff to make life easier later in case you wer busy later with rehearsals.
Tacos for Christmas sounds fabulous.
As far as I am concerned, there are only two approaches to adding garlic: not enough and the perfect amount. It helps enforce social distancing, too, when you have a big pile going in.
Oohh; that’s a lot of garlic!
We have leftover lasagna and pasta salad from our Thanksgiving dinner, so I have nothing to contribute regarding potatoes this year. (This Christmas we’re doing Tacos! I’m truly starting to appreciate non-traditional foods on holidays.)
Hmmm...
This won’t help you, but I was drooling over this video this morning:
They sort of have the same texture but you can definitely tell there’s something “off” about them. Personally I would use rutabaga in a soup or stew where it can hide among other ingredients.
Potato salad usually has mayo, so it can be a potato friendly condiment.
Are they good?
I think mashed potatoes (unless you’re making a hot potato salad) using mayo seems like it would be prone to breaking due to the heat of it. It actually sounds like something someone found when they ran out of something. It adds oil, acid, and egg protein but those aren’t usually things you are needing for potatoes.
If you don’t mind the smell of sweat socks, you can always try mashed rutabaga. They have less than half the carbs of regular white potatoes and fewer calories too.
Yeah, I know a lot of “right” ways to make mashed potatoes, so I’m not going to throw up a fuss if someone’s recipe includes mayonnaise. That can be right, too. I despise mayonnaise, but I could see how they would work as the creamy component of mashed potatoes. That’s really the general formula: potatoes, salt, and…
Usually the rule is “more salt and more butter”. I know people like to make Robuchon potatoes, but forget that you are normally only eating a tiny portion of them.
Cutting carbs always makes me want carbs. Mashed potatoes, I dream about.
