I am nearly with you on 007, but cannot support your Joker take.

Maybe this will be the tipping point to ban plastic bags. They are not necessary in most situations. If we expect people to bring their disposal plastic bags back to the store, then we can expect people to buy reusable bags.

I don’t know how we judge that in hockey (or any other sport, really), but I think that’s just been the consensus for the last 13 years (and probably rightly so). He may not be the most dynamic player at this point in his career relative to the likes of McDavid, but I still don’t see many people picking McDavid to

After reading this comment, I had this thought about how dominant a goalscorer Ovechkin is: Ovechkin has 200+ more goals than the guy with the next most goals, who is often called the best player in the world . (This is not a Crosby-Ovechkin argument, just some context around Ovechkin’s numbers)

One step further, this is bringing in that shortstop to pitch. Vettel’s implosion aside (Germany!?), my understanding was that the ineffectiveness of the technical upgrades is what put Ferrari on their back foot the second half of the season. And now the technical director is team principal. Hmm.

Your portrayal of this this fictional rock-carrying society is that if you are burdened with having to carry more rocks, you also get to fly in your personal jet and eat caviar in between rock carrying, whereas the guy not carrying more rocks carries rocks three times per day and has to take two buses to carry those

If someone makes $10 mil by November and in December is offered a job for $200k and they don’t take it because they’d only make $60k, why would they take job without taxes anyway? On top of $10 mil, you NEEDED $200k (2 percent of your previous earnings), but $60k (0.6 percent) is not worth it? I’m not buying it.

Can you explain what you mean by wake effect? This is not the mechanism that facilitates passing as I understand it.

The people providing answers from F! (charlie whiting) are referring to the scuff on LeClerc’s Halo as a tire mark. I assume this is from Alonso’s right front tire, which would have come in more from the side than over the top as the rest of the car did.

+1 Fat Man

Ferrari would have never made a decision on Kimi early enough to allow RB to pick him up, unless RB was going to wait until the off-season. And Alonso and Verstappen’s chemistry would be catastrophic (See Alonso & Hamilton 2007). As good ad Grosjean right now, maybe, maybe not, but his upside is far greater. Less

What is unsafe about lowering the weight back to the ground? If you have control, there is nothing unsafe about it. Can’t say the same for dropping 300+ pounds from 3 feet, especially when you’ve tied the weight to your hands.

It’s safer if you can’t handle the weight going down. But a good portion of the exercise is getting the weight back down. So if he can’t do that part safely, then he’s lifting too much.

The safest thing would be to lose the straps and completely drop the weight from the top, but I am guessing that would go over even worse with the crowd.

Okay and what happens to the people they replace at those teams? Manor went into administration a couple years ago and there is no replacement team.Teams don’t just spawn to pick up laid-off workers.

Every time I see Stroll give an interview, I think he’s pretty measured in his responses to car issues. He doesn’t get into specifics in interviews, so maybe that’s why you don’t think he knows how to set up a car, but it also means he’s not throwing them under the bus.

I don’t Cyril should get too excited; without a car, having a top-four driver won’t help (see Alonso). If he can put a truly competitive car together, it’ll be a double bonus to lose the hassle of RBR as a customer and pick up one of their drivers.

Not sure. If Ricciardo went to Ferrari, LeClerc would have a a couple years to wait for a Ferrari drive, which is not ideal for him or Ferrari. Even if Ricciardo is the best option for Ferrari next year, by the end of next year, LeClerc will have outgrown Sauber, but have no place at Ferrari. Better to bring him in

Hartley will be out of F1 before he get’s an upgraded drive.

Unfortunately, the only two people to call him out on it are in the grays.
